STEP-BY-STEP

Step 1: Apply glue and insert legs into the table.

Apply a thin layer of glue to the tenons and insert the legs into the tabletop.

 

 

Step 2: Tap wedges into the tenon.

Loosely insert the wedges into their matching tenons. Using the mallet, tap the wedges until they’re fully inserted. Alternate tapping to ensure even tightening.

 

 

Step 3: Level the table.

Lightly tap the table surface to ensure good contact between the top and the legs.

 

 

Step 4: Sand and apply finishing oil.

Sand the ends of the tenons until smooth. Wipe oil on the tenons and remove the protective tape to finish.
